About Claud Church
A community of believers growing together in faith, fellowship, and service to our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our Pastors
Pastor Jason Tew

Jason Tew was called as a pastor here at Claud Church in the summer of 2024. Since his arrival, Claud has experienced a renewed fervor in faith and a much needed growth in membership. We are thankful for his leadership, his care for us, and his scripture-based sermons.
He and his wife, Joana, have been married since 1989 and have two daughters, two son-in-laws, and three grandchildren. Both Jason and Joana are instrumental to the daily ministry at Claud. Jason is an Auburn University graduate with a master’s degree in theology from Faulkner University in Montgomery.
Jason’s sermon styles are more conversational rather than evangelical–making it easier to relate to the scriptures. Please join us here at Claud for a more fulfilling worship experience.
Associate Pastor Tim Lawrence

Tim joined Claud Church in November 2024 as Associate Pastor and Music Minister. He brings an infectious energy and love for Jesus to the church and leads the Claud family in learning to celebrate and praise our Savior. Tim has a heart for teaching the Word where he will share that capacity with our pastor.
He and his wife, Vicki, have been married since 1980 and have one daughter, Courtney, who is married. She and her husband, Matthew, live in Gulf Shores, AL and are serving the Lord there at a local church.
Tim’s desire in ministry is two-fold: to disciple and mentor those in our church who know the Lord, to be all that the Lord wants them to be, so that our community of believers can grow together and make a difference for the Kingdom; and to communicate the Gospel to those outside of our body of believers, who don’t know Jesus, as their Lord and Savior.
Our Story
Claud Independent Methodist Church has been serving the Eclectic community for decades, providing a place of worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth for families throughout the area.
Our church stands as a beacon of hope and faith in the community, committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through authentic relationships and meaningful worship. We believe in the power of community and the importance of growing together in our faith journey.
Under the leadership of Pastor Jason Tew and Associate Pastor Tim Lawrence, our church continues to grow and thrive, welcoming new members while maintaining our core values of faith, fellowship, and service.
